Yogic philosophy is based on ancient Indian texts and teachings that form the spiritual foundation of yoga. It explains the nature of existence, the self, and spiritual liberation (moksha). This philosophy emphasizes the connection between body, mind, and spirit, guiding individuals toward a balanced and meaningful life.

Yoga teaches that the true self (Atman) is eternal and connected to Brahman, the universal consciousness. The ultimate goal of yoga is to realize this connection and attain self-awareness and enlightenment.

Key Concepts of Yogic Philosophy

• Eight Limbs of Yoga (Ashtanga Yoga) by Sage Patanjali

Yoga uses six purification techniques known as Shatkarma or Shatkriya to cleanse the body and mind. These practices help detoxify the body, maintain physical and mental balance, and prepare students for deeper yogic practices. The following kriyas will be taught in this program.

• Jal Neti – Jal Neti is a traditional yogic cleansing technique that uses lukewarm saline water to clean the nasal passages. Water is gently poured through one nostril and flows out through the other with the help of a Neti pot. This practice helps remove mucus, dust, and allergens, supporting better breathing and sinus health. It is simple, gentle, and suitable for daily practice.
• Rubber Neti – Rubber Neti, also known as Sutra Neti, is an advanced yogic cleansing technique that uses a soft rubber catheter to deeply clean the nasal passages. It helps clear blockages, improve breathing, and stimulate the nasal and throat areas.
• Kapalbhati

Ayurveda is a 10,000-year-old natural healing system that originated in the Vedic civilization of India. Over the years, Ayurveda has continued to grow in popularity across India and around the world. This ancient science forms the foundation of many traditional healing systems, including Tibetan and Traditional Chinese medicine. The 100 Hour Yoga Program introduces students to the fundamental principles of this powerful healing tradition through the following topics.

• Ayurvedic Philosophy & History
• Exploring doshas and the elements
• Diagnostic techniques of imbalance and disease
• Pathology of disease
• Body constitutions
• Balancing the doshas
• Panchkarma
• Ayurvedic diet
• Daily habits to balance energies
• Prevention and maintenance of health

Conscious energy breathing supports self-healing, self-discovery, and spiritual growth. Through guided and mindful breathing, it helps release emotional blockages, restore inner balance, and deepen awareness of ourselves and the universe. It can also create a stronger connection with the Divine and open the door to personal transformation.

This gentle and natural practice may be done individually or in groups. It helps increase energy, clarity, intuition, creativity, and inner peace while keeping the body refreshed and the mind clear. Conscious energy breathing also encourages awareness of our inner energy, allowing us to direct it positively for healing, balance, and overall well-being.
